Sometime back around 1982, I bought a Marvel Special which reprinted this and, I think, three other issues. Unless I'm mistaken, one of the first five of the original run was a reprint (due to the dreaded deadline doom), so the special featured the covers from the four reprinted stories, one of which was number five. Obviously, the reprint tale wasn't included with the others as it wasn't part of the storyline. (Or something resembling that, as my memory isn't what it was.)

DeleteNot sure I remember that Special Kid, but it sounds an interesting one. The only Dr Strange special I had was the large sized Treasury edition that reprinted one of the early Brunner Dr Strange stories from Marvel Premier
DeleteIt was one of those Specials printed on what they called 'Baxter Paper'. Can't recall whether it's somewhere on my blog or not.

I just didn't have anything to say about Linda Lovelace ( had no idea who she was ) or the Superman the Movie mag which I never had ( and I wasn't a big fan of the film) . I'm more likely to comment as you know, on your comic book blogs especially anything on Neal Adams lol.

ReplyDeleteYes, it reprinted #s 1, 2, 4, & 5. It's credited to 1982 in some sources, but 1983 in others. Maybe it was dated '83, though came out in '82.
